ESCRITURA CREATIVE: PARTE 3
PERFECT
Everyday objects
are always there, at our service. Perfect in their simplicity, they always
work, and we have become accustomed to their humble effectiveness. But what
would happen if one of these objects decided, outraged by its working
conditions, to go on strike and stop working? What would be the consequences of
its protest on our lives? What are the conditions that make this object
protest?
Warm-Up
1. Have you ever
participated in a strike?
2. Are there many
strikes in your country?
3. What do you
think about strikes?
4. What about
student strikes?
You should write
a story that should start as follows: "one day, I want to use an object, but it
does not work."
The toothbrush,
for example, hides its bristles. The toothpaste doesn't come out of the tube
even if it jumps on it. The key doesn't close, the fork refuses to prick, the
umbrella doesn't open, or it opens but moves around, dodging the water drops to
get you wet. What would happen, what would be the consequences?
The story has to
end when the protagonist finds a little note in which the object explains why
he has decided to go on strike. You must also write the contents of the note.
